Becoming a Bat Mitzvah, at the age of 12, marks a special and auspicious milestone in a girl’s life.
Our Free Bat Mitzvah program helps prepare the girls in areas of Jewish knowledge and to
become active and responsible members in the Jewish community.
Through engaging discussions on relevant topics, chesed projects, workshops, crafts
and activities the girls will develop skills to achieve these goals.
Location is K55 Congregation 55 Michael Court off Yorkhill Blvd in Thornhill.
Chesed Projects such as making Shabbos food to help feed the needy
Fun and entertaining activities
Challah making and baking
Chanukah and Purim Celebration
The art of rolling your own sushi
Pizza and Movie Night
and much much more
Free Graduation dinner for mothers and daughters
This is a free program (actual cost: $900 per girl).
Starts October 23rd 2025 and ends May 2026
Every Thursday Night 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. Girls are welcome to stay till 8:45 pm for the Social Club after.
Dinner Dessert and Slushies Served every Thursday Night
Only committed students for the full year will be accepted.
Location is K55 at 55 Michael Court off York Hill Blvd in Thornhill.
